Terry began his musical career in Blues and Soul bands in the 1960s touring extensively in the UK Europe and the Middle East.
He has continued to perform as a solo artist and in bands in many genres from Jazz and Blues to playing with Irish singing group “The Bachelors” and accompanying vocalists Nancy Paul and Andy Spall.
His passion is for the music of the 1930s and 1940s performing songs by Hoagy Carmichael, George Gershwin, Cole Porter , Rodgers and Hart and many others of the great songwriters of this period.
Terry presents a weekly radio programme, Café Americain, on ICRFM which exclusively featured music from the 1930s and 1940s.
For the last ten years he has been presenting very successfully, to many organisations and groups throughout East Anglia, a programme of 30s and 40s songs with stories and anecdotes about the songrwiters, composers and performers of the period.
